1.Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Platform, creating an Account or completing a purchase you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Cookie & Local Storage Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, college or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation, and “you” means that organisation.
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. No physical or digital signature is required.
2.Definitions
- “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”
- Brute Info Edutech Private Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Unit 402, 4th Floor, Vantage Business Hub, Balewadi High Street, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India.

- “Learner”, “you”, “your”
- Any person who visits the Platform, registers an Account or purchases a Course.
- “Account”
- The credential-protected profile you create in order to enrol in Courses and record progress.

- “Tier”
- The purchasable level of access to a Course. Two Tiers are offered for every Course: Standard and Pro. Tier contents and prices are shown on each Course page and on the pricing page.

3.Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Learners between 13 and 18 years of age may use the Platform only through an Account opened and operated by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf and remains responsible for all activity on that Account. The Platform is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 13. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
You must not use the Platform if you are barred from receiving services under any applicable Indian law, or if we have previously terminated your Account for breach of these Terms.
4.Account registration and security
Some parts of the Platform — the dashboard, classroom, orders and certificates — require an Account. When you register you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date in your profile.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for every action taken through your Account, whether or not authorised by you.
- An Account is personal to one named individual. It must not be shared, sold, transferred, rented or made available to any other person, including classmates or colleagues.
- You must tell us immediately at support@bruteinfo.in if you suspect that your Account has been accessed by someone else.
- We may require re-verification of your email address, or a password reset, where we have reason to believe an Account is compromised.
You may sign in with an email address and password, or with a supported third-party identity provider. Where you use a third-party provider, that provider's own terms govern your relationship with it; we receive only the information described in the Privacy Policy.
5.Licence and permitted use
On payment of the applicable fees, and for as long as you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and view the Content of the Courses you have purchased, for your own education and non-commercial use.
That licence permits you to:
- stream and view lectures and read the accompanying notes on devices you control;
- take personal notes, including through the note-taking tools in the classroom;
- write, run and adapt the code examples in your own projects, including commercial ones;
- print a reasonable number of pages for your personal study; and
- display your certificate of completion on your résumé or professional profiles.
Nothing in this licence transfers ownership of any Content to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Section 12 sets out what the licence does not permit.
6.Course access and what “lifetime access” means
Courses are sold individually, per Tier. Buying one Course does not give you access to any other Course, and buying the Standard Tier does not give you the Pro Tier.
We describe Course access as lifetime access. That phrase has a specific and limited meaning, and we would rather be precise than flattering:
- No expiry date and no renewal. Your access to a purchased Course is not time-limited and there is no subscription to renew. You pay once for that Course and Tier.
- “Lifetime” means the commercial lifetime of the Course on the Platform — that is, for as long as the Company continues to offer that Course. It does not mean your lifetime, and it is not a perpetual guarantee.
- Retirement. If we retire a Course you have purchased, we will give you at least 90 days' notice by email to the address on your Account and will make the then-current course materials available for download during that period.
- Updates are included. Where we revise, extend or re-record a Course you own, the revisions are included at no extra cost within the Tier you bought.
- Access follows the Account. Access is tied to the Account that made the purchase and cannot be transferred to another person.
Access may be suspended while an Account is under investigation under section 18, or during scheduled maintenance notified on the Platform.
7.Progress, certificates and data stored on your device
The Platform records your enrolments, per-lecture completion ticks, course progress percentages, notes, cart, orders and certificates. You should understand where that record lives:
- Today, your learning record is stored in your own browser, in local
storage on the device you are using, under keys beginning
bruteinfo:v1. It is not synchronised to a Brute Info server. - That means your progress does not follow you to another browser, another device or a private-browsing window, and clearing your browser's site data will erase it permanently.
- We cannot restore learning data that your browser has discarded, because we never held a copy of it. The full list of keys is published in the Cookie & Local Storage Policy.
Certificates are issued automatically when every lecture in a Course is marked viewed. A certificate records completion of the Course as delivered on the Platform. It is not a degree, diploma or any qualification recognised by the University Grants Commission, AICTE or any other statutory body, and we make no claim that it is.
8.Fees, taxes and currency
All prices displayed on the Platform are:
- in Indian rupees (INR, ₹) and payable only in Indian rupees;
- exclusive of Goods and Services Tax. GST at the prevailing rate of 18% is added at checkout to the base price of every Course and Tier, and the tax amount is itemised separately on the order summary and on the tax invoice;
- quoted per Course and per Tier — there is no bundle price and no per-seat licence; and
- subject to change at any time. A price change never affects a Course you have already purchased.
The GST rate applied is the statutory rate for online educational services in force on the date of the Order. If that rate changes, the new rate applies to Orders placed after the change takes effect, without further notice.
Where you supply a GSTIN at checkout, the tax invoice is raised against that GSTIN. You are responsible for the accuracy of any GSTIN you provide; we cannot re-issue an invoice against a different GSTIN after it has been generated.
You are responsible for any bank charges, currency-conversion charges or card-issuer fees levied by your own payment provider. Those are not part of the fee we charge and are not refundable by us.
9.Payment terms
Fees are payable in full and in advance. Access to a Course is granted only once payment is confirmed. Placing an Order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm the Order and grant access, not when you press the pay button.
Our payment gateway is not connected
The Platform is live, but the payment gateway integration is not complete. Every payment attempt currently returns HTTP 503 “service unavailable” and no card, UPI or bank details are captured, transmitted or stored at any point. Failed attempts are recorded against your Account so that you have a record of them; you can see them on your payment history page. Until the gateway is connected, no fee is ever actually collected from you.
Because no money changes hands, any Course access granted while the gateway is unavailable is a complimentary preview. Preview access is granted at our discretion, is recorded as such on your Order, carries no lifetime-access entitlement under section 6 and may be withdrawn on notice when normal payments resume.
Discount codes, coupons and campus offers are honoured only where they are issued by us, are within their validity period and are applied at checkout. The coupon service is currently unavailable and rejects every code presented to it.
We may refuse or cancel an Order where we reasonably suspect fraud, a pricing error, a breach of these Terms, or a legal restriction on supplying you.
10.Refunds and cancellation
Our refund commitments are set out in full in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: you may request a refund within 30 days of purchasing a Course, provided you have consumed no more than 25% of its lectures and have not downloaded the certificate.
Because no payment is currently collected (see section 9), there is at present nothing to refund. Refund requests will be honoured against the first successful payment made once the gateway is connected.
11.Intellectual property
All Content on the Platform, and all intellectual property rights in it — copyright, database rights, design rights, trade marks and trade secrets — are owned by or licensed to Brute Info Edutech Private Limited and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and applicable international treaties.
“Brute Info”, the BI monogram, the tagline “Master the core of computer science.” and the visual design of the Platform are trade marks of Brute Info Edutech Private Limited. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except to refer factually to the Platform.
Third-party names, standards and specifications referred to inside our Courses remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and teaching purposes only.
If you believe Content on the Platform infringes your copyright, write to hello@bruteinfo.in with the subject line “Copyright notice”, identifying the work, the location of the material and your contact details. We investigate every properly-made notice and remove infringing material where the notice is substantiated.
12.Acceptable use and anti-piracy
Course Content is expensive to produce and easy to copy. The following are material breaches of these Terms. You must not:
- record, screen-capture, mirror, re-host, re-stream or redistribute any lecture or other Content, in whole or in part, by any means and on any platform;
- share your Account credentials, or allow more than one person to use a single Account;
- sell, rent, lend, sub-licence or otherwise commercialise access to Content, including by running paid study groups built on our recordings;
- upload Content to file-sharing services, messaging groups, note-selling marketplaces or AI training corpora;
- use automated means — scrapers, crawlers, headless browsers, download managers — to extract Content or metadata from the Platform;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with any access control, rate limit, watermark or security feature of the Platform;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or network connected to it;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or falsify your progress, completion status or certificate; or
- use the Platform for anything unlawful under Indian law, or in a way that harasses, defames or endangers anyone.
We monitor for concurrent-session abuse and bulk extraction. Where we detect it we may suspend access immediately under section 18, and we reserve the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies, including under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Responsible security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, report it privately to hello@bruteinfo.in and give us a reasonable period to fix it before disclosing it. We will not pursue action against research conducted in good faith along those lines.
13.Your content and feedback
You keep ownership of everything you write on the Platform — notes, code, questions, reviews and support correspondence. By submitting anything that is visible to other Learners, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform. That licence ends when you delete the material, except for copies retained in routine backups.
You are responsible for what you submit. You must not post anything that infringes another person's rights, discloses confidential information, is unlawful, or contains malicious code.
If you send us suggestions or feature ideas, we may use them without restriction, without attribution and without any obligation to compensate you. Do not send us ideas you are not willing to give away on those terms.
14.Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the Platform available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control, including network failures, hosting outages, power cuts and events of force majeure.
We may add, alter, re-record, reorganise or withdraw Courses, Tiers, features and syllabus content at any time in order to keep the curriculum current. Where a change materially reduces what you bought, section 6 on retirement applies.
Certain features described on the Platform are not yet implemented. In particular, video streaming is not live: opening a lecture runs a short timer and then marks the lecture viewed. We describe this plainly wherever it appears rather than implying playback that does not exist.
15.Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
In particular, we do not warrant that:
- the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- the Content is free of errors, or suitable for any particular examination, syllabus or interview process; or
- completing a Course will result in a job offer, an internship, a placement, a salary increase, or any particular examination result.
Nothing on the Platform is legal, financial, career or professional advice. Any statistics about outcomes are indicative of past learner experience and are not a promise of your result.
16.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Brute Info Edutech Private Limited, its directors, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, examination result, employment or data, however caused and under any theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to us for the Course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the event. Where you have paid us nothing, our aggregate liability shall not exceed ₹1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law.
17.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Brute Info Edutech Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees and contractors from and against all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms or of any policy incorporated into them;
- your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any third party, including any unauthorised copying or redistribution of Content;
- any content you submit to the Platform; or
- your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
We will notify you of any claim to which this indemnity applies and will not settle it without first consulting you.
18.Suspension and termination
By you. You may stop using the Platform at any time and may delete your Account from the settings page. Deleting your Account ends your licence under section 5 and removes the learning record held in your browser. Deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund; the Refund & Cancellation Policy governs that.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your Account, with or without notice depending on the seriousness of the matter, if you breach these Terms — in particular section 12 — if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe that continued access poses a risk to other Learners or to the Platform.
Where we terminate for a breach that you did not commit deliberately, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond. Where we terminate for piracy or credential sharing, access ends immediately and no refund is payable.
19.Governing law, grievances and contact
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.
Before starting proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. Write to support@bruteinfo.in setting out the issue; we will respond within 15 working days. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of that notice, it shall be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by the Company under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Pune, Maharashtra and the proceedings shall be conducted in English.
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify you by email or by a notice on the Platform at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
Grievance officer. In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer at privacy@bruteinfo.in or by post to the registered office below. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.
General. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of our business. These Terms, together with the policies incorporated into them, are the entire agreement between us.
